Now, everyone knows that my favorite color is "Lilly." Somehow, though, I'd managed to miss out on the adorable Murfee scarf, which is a great piece for dyed-in-the-wool Lilly lovers as well as those gals who tend to shy away from all-over prints.  This ridiculous oversight was recently rectified when I had the good fortune to win a Murfee scarf in a generous giveway hosted by Maryland Pink Green and The Village Palm.

Let me tell you, this is an amazing accessory. Remember when we were all Carrie Bradshaw wannabes (Carrie-bes?) in pashminas? Well, this scarf combines all the style and utility of a pashmina with the most delicate silk/cashmere blend I've ever felt. It's amazing for a pop of color or an instant "pull-together."


Last week, I was invited to a casual weeknight cocktail party. I went with the simplest of clothing: a white tee, black skirt, and black flats. The stunning Murfee scarf pulled the outfit together in a chic, summery way. It attracted so many kind compliments, too!


Thanks again to Maryland Pink & Green and The Village Palm for the awesome gift! I think I'll need another Murfee soon!
