I am a freelance writer living in Lexington, KY with my fiancé R., our Black Lab, Max, and our brand new Lab Mix puppy, Sophie. Mint Juleps and Magnolias is a blog about my very favorite things: volunteering, shopping, cooking, and writing. In my "offline" life, I enjoy politics, knitting, reading, and of course, the perfect mint julep. I am obsessed with the University of Kentucky basketball and football teams, and have a love-hate relationship with planning my next 5K race.
