As of July 2010, I have never received any revenue, product samples or other remuneration in exchange for the content of the Mint Juleps and Magnolias blog. Any opinions expressed on MJM are influenced solely by my personal experience with the products, customer service, and advertising that comprise individual brands.
If, at any time, I receive a gratis sample or other incentive to provide my readers with product information, I will explicitly inform MJM readers of that arrangement, in the interest of full disclosure, in compliance with the recent updates to the Federal Trade Commission Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 41-58, as amended), and in the general interest of doing the right thing. Further, I do not assume any liability for my readers' experiences with any products I may endorse. I'm not an expert, y'all.
I do, however, welcome companies who are interested in partnering with me to provide giveaways, discounts, or other incentives for MJM readers. I welcome product samples for blogging consideration, with the express understanding that I will give an honest review of the product, that I will inform my readers of the arrangement, and that I reserve the right to refuse any product sample. (If, say, Tervis Tumbler or Tory Burch ask me to review, I'm on it.)
